The Tower Hamlets Saturday Music Centre (SMC) is fully funded by the Council’s Award 
winning Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES). THAMES works in nearly all schools in the Borough providing instrumental and vocal tuition to almost 10,500 pupils on a weekly basis. The SMC operates for ten Saturdays each term and there are currently 180 pupils who attend and who come from all parts of the Borough. New members are always welcome.
